Hood Opener

·         Lifting of hood is semi-automatic       

·         The Unit will grip the hood and lift it to a predetermined height while it automatically synchronizes with the line.  The operator will install the prop (or gas springs) in place and pull down on the hood.  The Unit disengages from the job and returns home.  

·         The Unit automatically synchronizes with the job

·         Two vacuum cups to grip the hood, however we build one hundred percent mechanical semi-automatic hood openers as well

·         Programmable Logic Controller

·         Frame is constructed of rectangular steel tubing

·         Configurations consist of:        

§         Overhead on the side of the line

§         Floor mounted on side of line

§         Overhead on center of the line and integrated in the overhead conveyor

·         Floor mounted on center of the line and integrated into floor conveyor

·         Improves Productivity and eliminates non-value added work
