R. P. Gatta’s products are custom designed and built to increase productivity while improving safety, quality, and ergonomics. Upon reviewing the application with you, we develop a concept to solve your specific need.  We draw from our wealth of experience and expertise as System Integrators of Automation, Fastening Systems, Fixturing, Custom Conveyors, Metal Marking Systems, Robotic Systems, Ergonomic Assists, and Headlamp Aiming Systems to provide you with a quality solution.

Our Fastening Systems consist of simple two spindle multiples  to semi-automatic multi-spindle tools that are manually guided on, to fully automated Fastening Systems.  Features include: the tools feeding, retracting, lifting up and returning home automatically. All Fastening Systems are capable to line track moving assembly lines. We utilize DC Electric Tools from all Tool manufactures.  We have the capability to receive torque requirements via Ethernet, bar code readers, or a plant’s central computer and then automatically set the DC Electric Tools to run at the required torque. Once the fasteners have been tightened, we collect and display the actual torque and angle of each spindle, and send this data to the plant’s central computer. 

Often as a basic, yet critical starting point in our projects, we fixture or nest the part we are performing work on. 

We frequently custom design conveyors to feed parts to and from, and between our pieces of equipment.  

R.P. Gatta has developed our own Metal Marking Systems because we were never quite satisfied with what products were available on the market. Our Dot Peen and Scribing Marking Systems utilize a Patented Error Proofing technology that ensure the part is properly marked and this data can be collected much like torque and angle data from DC Electric Tools. Due to the success of these superb marking tools, we created the RPG Marking Systems Division of R.P. Gatta, Inc.  

As certified Motoman and ABB Robot System Integrators, we custom design Robot Cells for Assembly, Material Handling, and Fastening Applications. As a result of our years of experience with hard automation for line tracking applications on moving assembly lines where we had developed unique part locating technology, we have been able to transfer this technology to Robot Cells on moving assembly lines. This technology has eliminated the requirements for costly stop stations and lift and locate devices.  

In the year 2000, R.P. Gatta partnered with L.E.T. Automotive NV of Belgium. We are L.E.T.’s  North American Sales, System Integrators and Service Representatives covering the United States, Canada and Mexico. L.E.T. builds high quality Headlamp Aiming and Audit Systems for Automotive Assembly Plants. R.P. Gatta will design and build the gantry frames, the floor track, festooning or cat track systems, and the power distribution panel to U.L. or C.S.A. requirements; integrate them with the L.E.T. components, conduct the buyoff at R.P. Gatta; and provide Installation Supervision and Start- Up Assistance at your facility. 

When it comes to Ergonomic Assists, we excel when a customer is looking for a solution for a unique and difficult operation. For heavy loads, we have our patented Intelligent Ergonomic Assist that can solve any difficult ergonomic problem that are joy stick controlled and electric motor driven. On the other end of the spectrum of sophistication, we have our incredibly simple Twist Grip Balancer/Hoist Controlled Assists that are intuitive devices that automatically accommodates for different weight parts.
